music
I write and produce electronic and electro-pop music, which I primarily release under a psuedonym:
At Northwestern, I had many amazing opportunities to work with collaborators and to perform my original music through the Songwriters Association at Northwestern (SWAN). As co-president of SWAN, I managed a student music festival with 27 student musicians and bands, led songwriting workshops, ran and promoted open mics and band features, and mastered an annual compilation album of student-written and produced music.
Along with my original music, I’ve participated in many musical groups:
- Carnegie Mellon Kiltie Band (Concert Season) (French Horn)
- Northwestern University Marching Band (Mellophone)
- Northwestern Basketball Band (Mellophone)
- Northwestern Concert Band (French Horn)
- WNUR Student Radio Station: Streetbeat Programming Block (DJing)
- Northwestern Video Game Music Ensemble (French Horn, Arrangements for concert band and jazz ensemble)
- Lylajean and Who We Are (pop and art pop band, Electronics and Drums)
- Sigma Alpha Iota Jazz Ensemble (Trombone)
- Phi Mu Alpha Iota Choir (Bass voice)
